We are seeking an experienced Network Monitoring & Analysis Engineer with a strong background in advanced network tools and monitoring platforms. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing, analysing, and optimizing enterprise-scale networks using industry-leading solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain network monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor, ThousandEyes, NetBrain, LiveAction, Gigamon, cPacket, and Splunk.
- Monitor network performance, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Perform deep packet inspection and traffic analysis using Gigamon and cPacket solutions.
- Automate workflows and enhance visibility through NetBrain and LiveAction integrations.
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards in Splunk to support operational and security teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement proactive monitoring strategies.
- Provide expert-level support for escalated network incidents and root cause analysis.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to monitoring frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in network monitoring, analysis, or engineering roles.
- Strong expertise with tools: LogicMonitor, ThousandEyes, NetBrain, LiveAction, Gigamon, cPacket, Splunk.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and network protocols.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
