Golden Mile Enterprises Inc. is hiring an experienced Claims Executive to manage freight claims, investigate shipment issues, and coordinate with carriers, brokers, and customers to ensure timely claim resolution. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Freight Claims, Logistics Operations, or Transportation
- Hands-on experience handling freight, cargo, detention, lumper, TONU, breakdown, and accessorial claims
- Strong knowledge of US trucking operations and claims processes
- Familiarity with transportation documents such as BOLs, PODs, rate confirmations, and carrier packets
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation Claims and trucking insurance policies is preferred
- Excellent communication, email drafting, and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and logistics/TMS platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
- Review, investigate, and resolve freight and transportation claims
- Verify claim documents and communicate with carriers, brokers, and customers
- Ensure all claims are documented, tracked, and resolved within SLAs
- Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain accurate claim records and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with McLeod, PCS, or similar logistics software
- Knowledge of trucking insurance policies and Workers' Compensation Claims
