We are looking for a skilled and experienced Operation Theatre (OT) Technician with hands-on experience in laparoscopic surgeries to join a reputed hospital in Miryalaguda. The role involves preparing and assisting in various surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring the availability and proper handling of laparoscopic instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during laparoscopic and general surgeries in the OT
- Sterilize, arrange, and maintain laparoscopic instruments and surgical equipment
- Prepare OT before surgery and ensure aseptic conditions
- Monitor patient vitals (if required) during procedures
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain surgical logs
- Coordinate with surgical teams and nursing staff for procedure planning
- Perform pre-op and post-op cleaning and equipment checks
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in OT Technology / Surgical Assistant
- Minimum 5 years of experience, with a strong focus on laparoscopic procedures
- Experience in general, gynecologic, or urologic laparoscopic surgeries preferred
Skills Required:
- Technical expertise in handling OT and laparoscopic equipment
- Strong understanding of surgical workflows and sterile techniques
- Team collaboration and quick response in emergency OT settings
- Good communication and attention to detail
