Job Summary
Sree Gokulam Speed and Safe Courier Service Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of GST, TDS, banking transactions, and accounting software such as Tally.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) accurately and within deadlines.
- Handle TDS and TCS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily banking transactions.
- Create, review, and update expense reports.
- Record and maintain financial transactions in Tally.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records and documentation.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and statements.
- Verify invoices, receipts, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with accounting and taxation regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and proper accounting entries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Good understanding of banking procedures and financial transactions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
