Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Web Application Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship is ideal for candidates who are passionate about web technologies and eager to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications.
As an intern, you will work alongside experienced developers on real-world projects and gain exposure to the complete software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications.
- Work on both front-end and back-end development tasks.
- Design and optimize databases and write efficient SQL queries.
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot application issues.
- Participate in feature development and software enhancements.
- Collaborate with team members during planning, development, and testing.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Learn and adopt new technologies as required.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Knowledge of at least one server-side programming language such as PHP, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), Java, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Understanding of database design and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good logical reasoning and debugging abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar front-end frameworks.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Basic understanding of web security concepts.
- Personal or academic web development projects are a plus.
Eligibility
- Final-year students, recent graduates, or candidates pursuing a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Candidates with a strong portfolio or personal projects are encouraged to apply.
