Job Title: Head Pastry Chef / Bakery Chef

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef / Bakery Chef to lead our pastry and bakery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods, managing daily production, and ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence in all offerings.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all pastry and bakery operations within the kitchen
- Develop and update dessert, pastry, and bakery menus in line with the restaurant concept
- Prepare and oversee the production of cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all items
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior pastry staff and bakers
- Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth daily operations
- Manage ordering of ingredients and maintain supplier relationships
- Stay updated with industry trends and introduce new ideas and techniques

Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef, or Bakery Chef
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and dessert presentation
- Leadership and team management skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
