Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete purchase order (PO) lifecycle from order placement to final delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for order confirmation, production status, and shipment schedules.
- Follow up regularly with vendors to ensure timely production and dispatch.
- Maintain daily communication with suppliers regarding pending orders and delivery commitments.
- Track order status and update internal MIS reports accurately.
- Monitor delivery timelines and proactively resolve delays.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth material movement.
- Verify purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, and related documents.
- Ensure product quality and specifications meet company standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Negotiate delivery schedules, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on order status and pending follow-ups.
- Work closely with the sales, inventory, and planning teams to maintain stock availability.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor communications, purchase orders, and follow-up history.
- Resolve supplier issues related to shortages, quality, delayed deliveries, or documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience in MIS reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and orders simultaneously.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 5–6 years of experience in Merchandising, Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in the textile, garment, retail, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
