Job Title : Assistant General Manager

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business growth strategies for the Defence, Aerospace, and Automotive logistics sector.
- Drive revenue, profitability, and business development through freight forwarding and integrated logistics solutions.
- Build and manage relationships with Defence PSUs, OEMs, aerospace companies, automotive clients, and government stakeholders.
- Lead consultative sales engagements and provide customized logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Ensure compliance with defence regulations, customs, export controls, and internal governance policies.
- Manage strategic accounts, long sales cycles, and high-value business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Legal, Compliance, and Solution teams for seamless project execution.
- Monitor sales pipeline, business performance, documentation, and CRM updates.
- Identify business risks and ensure adherence to audit, compliance, and quality standards.
- Support end-to-end project execution while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Requisites
- Bachelor//'s degree in any discipline.
- Strong experience in Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, Freight Forwarding, or Integrated Logistics.
- Proven expertise in consultative sales, business development, and key account management.
- Good understanding of customs regulations, export controls, compliance, and supply chain operations.
- Experience working with government organizations, PSUs, OEMs, and institutional stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, project cargo, secure logistics, and time-critical shipments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage strategic sales opportunities, long sales cycles, and revenue targets.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity with experience working in regulated and compliance-driven environments.
