This role will be a part of our growing Portfolio Management team and the primary responsibility would involve working closely with clients to understand their requirements for investment deals in the structured finance space. The individual will play an important role in onboarding, monitoring, and other aspects of risk monitoring as required for our institutional clients. The incumbent would be involved in researching and going through various financial and legal agreements and in monitoring and reporting key metrics of various investments.
Key Responsibilities:-
Legal Document Review: Analyze closing documents such as credit agreements, term sheets, note purchase agreements and IC memos
- Risk Modelling: Develop and update various risk and borrowing base models for various transactions. Monitor key metrics to access risk and other triggers. Conduct stress case scenarios and analyze headroom on various metrics
- Covenant Monitoring: Continuously monitor all qualitative and quantitative covenants, triggers, and events along with Key performance indicators at the transaction level
- Client Request/Compliances: Ensure compliance with client requirements and service level agreement (SLA), from an asset management perspective
- Surveillance & Reporting: Review the reports on the proprietary platform and ensure that the logic and values are accurate
- Collaboration: Identify redundancies and streamline processes by collaborating with cross functional teams to create an organization-wide impact
- Mentorship: Mentoring and coaching junior team members to help them meet career goals and provide regular performance feedback to them and the line manager
- Delegation: Active workflow management and delegation for optimum capacity utilization, as well as own team’s performance and enhance it to meet business objectives
- A broad understanding of the corporate credit landscape and core financial concepts
- Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel
