Job Summary
The Modular Quotation & Estimation Executive is responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, cost calculations, and quotations for modular furniture and interior projects. The role requires close coordination with the sales, design, production, procurement, and project teams to ensure competitive pricing and timely submission of quotations.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Prepare detailed quotations based on approved designs and customer requirements.
· Estimate material quantities, hardware, accessories, and labor costs.
· Calculate project costs using drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
· Coordinate with the design team to clarify drawings and technical details.
· Obtain material and hardware prices from procurement/vendors.
· Prepare cost comparison sheets and maintain pricing databases.
· Revise quotations based on design changes or client requirements.
· Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, and submitted within deadlines.
· Coordinate with production and project teams regarding cost feasibility.
· Maintain records of quotations, estimates, revisions, and project documentation.
· Support the sales team during client discussions with technical and commercial information.
· Monitor material price fluctuations and update costing accordingly.
· Ensure company pricing policies and profit margins are maintained.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Interior Design, Civil, or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in modular furniture/interior estimation and quotation.
· Good knowledge of modular furniture materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint Presentation and ERP software.
· Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and BOQ interpretation.
· Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
