Job profile:
1. Teaching & Academic Duties
- Teach subjects related to Operation Theatre Technology such as:
- OT procedures
- Surgical instruments
- Anaesthesia technology
- Infection control
- Sterilization techniques
- Deliver lectures, practical demonstrations, and seminars.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and study materials.
2. Practical & Clinical Training
- Train students in real OT settings or simulation labs.
- Demonstrate:
- Preparation of operation theatre
- Handling surgical instruments
- Assisting surgeons and anesthetists
- Supervise students during clinical postings in hospitals.
3. Student Assessment
- Conduct internal exams, practical exams, and viva.
- Evaluate student performance and practical skills.
- Guide students for projects, case studies, and internships.
4. OT Lab / Equipment Management
- Maintain OT lab instruments and teaching models.
- Ensure sterilization protocols and safety standards are followed.
- Coordinate with hospital OT staff for training.
5. Research & Academic Development
- Participate in research activities, publications, and conferences.
- Update curriculum according to latest surgical technologies and protocols.
6. Administrative Work
- Attend faculty meetings and academic committees.
- Help in curriculum planning and accreditation processes.
- Assist with student mentoring and counseling.

Qualification (Usually Required)
