Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer responsible for designing electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role includes electrical load calculations, lighting design, earthing and lightning protection design, and compliance with national and international electrical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical system layouts.
- Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations.
- Design earthing and grounding systems as per IS 3043 standards from Bureau of Indian Standards.
- Develop lighting layouts and lux level calculations as per IS 3646 and Illuminating Engineering Society guidelines.
- Design lightning protection systems as per IEC 62305 / IS 2309.
- Ensure electrical designs comply with National Building Code (NBC) issued by Bureau of Indian Standards.
- Select and size transformers based on project load requirements as per IS 1180 / IEC 60076 standards.
- Design and specify Diesel Generator (DG) systems including load sharing, synchronization, and installation standards.
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQ, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines.
- Review contractor shop drawings and provide technical approvals.

Qualification

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Dialux / Relux for lighting design
- Knowledge of ETAP or electrical system analysis tools
- Experience in MEP consulting or electrical design projects
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
