Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to join our quality engineering team in Ahmedabad.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual and automation testing, with a good understanding of software testing methodologies, API testing, defect management, and Agile/Scrum practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other QA engineers.
- Perform API testing and validate REST API responses and integrations.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Execute regression and automation test suites and analyze test results.
- Participate in requirements analysis and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing for web applications.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain clear documentation of test results, defects, and quality metrics.
- Support release validation and production issue investigation.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of professional experience in Software QA/Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Automation Testing.
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Strong experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
- Experience developing or maintaining automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Exposure to performance or security testing.
- Experience testing web and cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
