About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst to protect our organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will monitor security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security events using security tools.
- Identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor firewalls, antivirus solutions, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools.
- Investigate suspicious activities and perform incident response.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Create security reports and documentation.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Cyber Security fundamentals.
- Understanding of Networking Concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Routing, Switching).
- Familiarity with Operating Systems (Windows, Linux).
- Knowledge of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Security.
- Understanding of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
- Basic knowledge of SIEM tools.
- Understanding of Cyber Threats, Malware, and Attack Vectors.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Security Tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Nessus, Metasploit).
- Knowledge of Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of Ethical Hacking concepts.
- Familiarity with Security Frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and OWASP.
- Cyber Security certifications are an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications are preferred (CEH, Security+, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, etc.).
