We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate to drive sales growth and expand our customer base within the Forex and Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, promoting Forex products and services, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate new business for Forex products including Retail Forex, Corporate Forex, Travel Cards, Foreign Remittances, and related services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporates, travel agencies, educational institutions, hospitals, exporters, importers, and individual customers.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to drive business growth.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and field visits to acquire new customers.
Marketing & Promotional Activities
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and business development initiatives.
- Establish strategic partnerships and referral networks.
- Support branding and lead-generation activities through events, exhibitions, and digital campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal teams to maximize business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
- Provide customers with accurate information regarding Forex products and services.
- Prepare quotations and offer customized solutions based on customer requirements.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Address customer queries and complaints professionally while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Compliance & Operations Support
- Ensure adherence to RBI, FEMA, AML, KYC, and internal compliance requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and transaction records.
- Coordinate with operations and service teams for seamless transaction processing.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and MIS updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Forex products, foreign exchange regulations, and financial services is preferred.
- Understanding of RBI, FEMA, KYC, and AML guidelines is an advantage.
Experience
- 3-4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Relationship Management.
- Prior experience in Forex, Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, or related industries preferred.
- Experience handling corporate clients and channel partners will be an added advantage.
