We are looking for a Structure Analysis Engineer with a strong foundation in structural mechanics and finite element analysis (FEA). The ideal candidate will work on the design, analysis, and validation of aerospace/UAV structures, ensuring optimal performance, manufacturability, and structural integrity.
- Perform structural analysis and sizing of aerospace/UAV components using analytical methods and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Design and analyze primary and secondary structures for strength, stiffness, buckling, fatigue, and vibration.
- Develop and validate structural models using tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, or OptiStruct.
- Optimize structures for weight, cost, manufacturability, and performance.
- Create detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Work closely with thermal, propulsion, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Design composite and metallic structures, including bonded joints and mechanical fasteners.
- Support structural testing, validation, and correlation of simulation results with experimental data.
- Participate in design reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
- Support prototype development, structural integration, ground testing, and flight test activities.
- Strong understanding of Structural Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Stress Analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, OptiStruct, or equivalent simulation tools.
- Knowledge of CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, or NX.
- Understanding of composite materials, metallic structures, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with fatigue, buckling, vibration, and static/dynamic analysis.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of Python or MATLAB for engineering calculations or automation is an added advantage.
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with 0–3 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong academic background in structural analysis and engineering mechanics.
- Experience in aerospace, UAV, automotive, or other lightweight structural systems.
- Exposure to prototype development and structural validation.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
