Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and caring Pre-Primary Teacher to join a school in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with young children and be able to create a safe, engaging, and positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate classroom activities for pre-primary students.
- Create engaging learning experiences through play, stories, music, art, and hands-on activities.
- Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and language development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Observe and monitor students' learning and development.
- Maintain basic student records and classroom documentation.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and activities.
- Follow the school's curriculum, policies, and teaching practices.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline is preferred.
- Relevant early childhood education / Montessori / NTT / ECCE qualification will be an advantage.
- 1–4 years of experience working with pre-primary or kindergarten students preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong communication skills may also be considered.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach toward young children.
- Ability to plan creative and engaging classroom activities.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and communication.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
