The opportunity:
GIS Primary/ Offer Engineering team. You will be supporting the Sales & Tendering engineers to develop Tender specific engineering documents and drawings for calculating right cost and drawings submission to customer as part of offer documentation. This role complete involved in Primary Engineering of Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) of transmission and sub-transmission systems. You will be an individual contributor who would deliver the tasks as per the given inputs and when required need to work in coordination with other colleagues and should exhibit good collaborative skills to complete the task. You may also interact with other departments like Secondary engineering, Steel structure engineering, Project Management and Production units.
How you’ll make an impact:
Preparation of drawings and documents for customer submission as well as production for Gas Insulated Switchgear above 66kV.
Major deliverables are Gas SLD, GIS Lay out, cable tray layout, earthing layout. Cabling overview and assembly overview. System resistance, Thermal loss, Gas volume, Earthing mat and Cable calculations. Bill of material calculation; but not limited to.
Preparation of cost estimation based on the BOM generated. Self-review & peer review of documents
Coordinating with the other team members, Sales Support Engineers & Area sales Managers.
Strong in Design to value (DtV) and preparation on optimized solutions considering customer requirements.
Directly responsible for maintaining and updating the documentation for respective projects / Tenders as per quality process.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma electrical & electronics engineering in engineering, with 2 – 7 years of experience.
Minimum 2 years of Substation or High voltage product design (Tender or Execution). Team player and able to handle sales pressure & prepare solutions on time.
Good knowledge in CAD tools (Creo & AutoCad). Familiarity with codes and applicable standards like IEC, IEEE, ANSI etc.
Excellent knowledge on high voltage products & substation.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
