Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Intern to join our Finance team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to finance operations, accounting processes, documentation, reporting, and institutional finance. The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to government skill development projects, gaining cross-functional experience in finance, administration, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain finance and accounting records accurately.
- Manage invoice filing, vendor bills, and payment tracking.
- Prepare finance trackers using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Verify expenses and maintain reimbursement documentation.
- Support basic accounting entries in Tally, when required.
- Maintain vouchers, invoices, approvals, and related financial documentation.
- Assist in vendor, bank, and payment reconciliations.
- Prepare basic MIS reports for the Finance team.
- Support audit activities and internal review documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams for bills, approvals, and supporting documents.
- Assist in finance process improvement initiatives and new projects.
Additional Responsibilities
The intern will also support projects under government skill development initiatives, including:
- Maintaining project records and documentation.
- Preparing project and financial reports.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the financial, administrative, and marketing execution of skill development programs.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or completed B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), or MBA (Finance).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and finance.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of Tally is preferred.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and work on cross-functional assignments.
