[1]Job SummaryWe are seeking an aggressive, result-oriented B2B Sales Manager with a proven track record in the packaging or paper converting industry. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of expanding our market presence across the Hyderabad region. You will be responsible for bringing in bulk, recurring contracts for custom and plain paper bags by pitching directly to Cloud Kitchens, Quick-Commerce platforms, Fashion Retail, Corporate Event planners, and B2B wholesale networks. - New Client Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and close high-volume bulk paper bag supply contracts across Hyderabad’s commercial and industrial corridors (Hitech City, Madhapur, Secunderabad, Abids, etc.).
- Target Segment Penetration: Map out and secure deals with major quick-service restaurants (QSRs), local bakeries/sweet shops, dark stores (Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart), corporate offices, and apparel brands. [1, 2]
- Relationship Management: Manage end-to-end client relationships from initial cold-calling and sample validation to price negotiation, order closure, and credit cycle management. [1, 2]
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate directly with our internal Plant Head and Production Team in Hyderabad to communicate client specifications (GSM, size, handle type, and flexographic printing layouts) to ensure accurate delivery. [1]
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, local raw material (Kraft paper) trends, and municipal plastic ban enforcements to position our products aggressively.
Required Skills & Experience
- Industry Knowledge: Minimum 3 years of direct B2B field sales experience, preferably selling paper bags, corrugated boxes, flexible packaging, or food-grade takeaway materials.
- Local Rolodex: An existing network or active contact list of procurement heads, supply chain managers, or restaurant owners in Hyderabad is highly preferred.
- Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of paper bag technicalities (e.g., understanding Kraft paper grades, GSM weight vs. load capacity, sharp-bottom vs. square-bottom types, and multi-color flexo/screen printing limitations). [1]
- Language Fluency: Must be fluent in Telugu and English to effectively negotiate with both local business owners and corporate corporate procurement executives. Hindi is a major plus. [1, 2]
- Mobility: Must possess a personal vehicle for daily field visits and client client meetings across the greater Hyderabad region.
Pay: ₹13,968.87 - ₹45,000.00 per month
