Primary Purpose of the job:
Ensure smooth functioning of the Telephone Operators Desk
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient appointments.
- Schedule, reschedule, confirm, and cancel appointments with doctors and specialists.
- Provide patients with information about doctor availability, hospital services, and appointment procedures.
- Answer patient inquiries professionally and direct calls to the appropriate department when required.
- Maintain accurate patient appointment records in the hospital management system.
- Send appointment reminders and follow up with patients as needed.
- Coordinate with doctors, reception, and other hospital departments to ensure smooth scheduling.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies.
