About the Role
Dot Media is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and financial planning activities. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in both finance and accounts functions and be capable of independently handling end-to-end accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow management.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Maintain accurate records of expenses, invoices, vendor payments, and receivables.
- Support management with financial insights and business performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
- Assist in payroll accounting and other finance-related activities.
Requirements
- Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter) or equivalent finance/accounting qualification.
- 5–10 years of experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Advertising, Media, Digital Marketing, or Service-based companies.
- Exposure to audit coordination and financial planning.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
- Excellent Communication Skills
