We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented writer to be a key voice in our client communications. You'll sit in on internal and client meetings, turn discussions into clear documentation, and draft the emails that keep clients and prospects informed, engaged, and moving forward. If you love clean writing and hate typos, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the CEO's office and senior sales leadership, taking direction on tone, messaging, and priority correspondence for high-stakes client and prospect communication.
- Draft professional, polished emails for clients and potential clients — from meeting follow-ups to proactive outreach and status updates.
- Attend internal and client meetings; prepare accurate, well-organized Minutes of Meeting (MoM).
- Translate meeting discussions into clear action items and timely follow-up communication.
- Maintain organized, easy-to-navigate documentation of meetings, decisions, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, CS, delivery) to ensure communications are accurate and sent on time.
- Track open action items and proactively follow up until closed.
- Proofread and edit written materials to ensure a consistently professional, error-free tone across all client touchpoints.
Required Skills
- 6 months–1 year of experience in business writing, documentation, coordination, or client communication.
- Excellent written English — this is a writing-first role; strong grammar, tone control, and clarity are non-negotiable.
- Proven ability to draft client-facing emails that are professional, concise, and appropriately toned for a US audience.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate, well-structured Minutes of Meeting (MoM).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote startup EdTech environment.
- Comfortable taking direction from senior leadership (CEO's office, sales) and adapting quickly to their tone, priorities, and turnaround expectations.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or high-priority correspondence.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a client-facing or voice/chat support role.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
- Experience in EdTech or another US-facing startup.
