Job Title: Team Manager – Business Support, IT PMO

As a Team Manager under Business Support service line, you will oversee end-to-end Customer BUIT projects for Americas Region. Your role will focus on delivering well-architected solutions that enhance both customer and business experiences. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, driving project execution, ensuring quality deliverables, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships within a matrix organization. The incumbent will leverage expertise in SDLC, business analysis, and project management to deliver scalable and high-quality IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight
- Help Team drive project planning, execution, and delivery within agreed scope, timeline, and quality.
- Ensure clarity of requirements and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage changes, risks, and dependencies proactively.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and project governance standards.
Quality & Delivery Assurance
- Ensure deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Oversee testing, validation, and readiness for production release.
- Monitor key delivery metrics and take corrective action where needed.
- Promote continuous improvement in processes to enhance delivery quality.
Coordination & Governance
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Infrastructure, Testing, Support) and external vendors.
- Track progress, chase actions, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain clear documentation and decision records.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and audit requirements.
Management responsibility
- Lead, mentor, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects effectively.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and a high-performance culture.
- Drive team productivity by setting clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
- Support team development through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for Business Owners, Product Owners, and senior stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships and ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and deliverables.
- Manage expectations, provide regular updates, and handle escalations professionally.
- Influence decision-making by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
- Project Management certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of team management experience is a must.
- Knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain; experience in these fields is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in simplest possible way.
- Excellent decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in relational database design and management techniques.
- Familiarity with customer integrations, including EDI and API.
- Understanding of information processing principles and practices.
- Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
