Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer – DevOps, SRE and Cloud Security who can design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-native platforms. This role blends DevOps automation, site reliability principles, cloud architecture, and security-by-design practices to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
DevOps & Automation:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security gates using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes manifests.
- Drive GitOps adoption using tools such as Argo CD or Flux for automated and controlled deployments.
Site Reliability Engineering:
- Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs and manage error budgets and reliability roadmaps.
- Implement and manage observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems to reduce MTTR and improve system reliability.
Cloud Architecture:
- Design and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalability and cost efficiency.
- Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Manage networking configurations, load balancing, and security groups.
Security & Compliance:
- Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanning.
- Manage secrets and identity using Vault, KMS, IAM, and enforce policy-as-code using OPA or Sentinel.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in Terraform, Helm, and GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks and vulnerability management practices.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
Preferred Certifications:
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or GCP Architect.
- DevOps certifications including CKA, CKAD, CKS, or Terraform Associate.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, or CCSP.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- SLO adherence and system uptime metrics.
- Vulnerability remediation SLA compliance.
- Deployment frequency and change failure rate.
- Compliance audit readiness and security posture improvement.
