Account Executive – Export Finance & Accounts

Job Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing export-related accounting transactions, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating with banks and government authorities, and supporting smooth financial operations of the export business.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounts & Bookkeeping
- Record daily accounting transactions accurately.
- Maintain purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries.
- Prepare journal vouchers and ledger postings.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash books, and general ledgers.
- Verify invoices, bills, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records.
2. Export Documentation Accounting
- Account export invoices and shipping bills.
- Verify commercial invoices, packing lists, and export documents.
- Maintain export realization records.
- Track export receivables and outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with export documentation and logistics departments.
3. Banking & Foreign Exchange
- Coordinate with banks for export documentation.
- Process Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Realization Certificate (BRC/e-BRC), and export collections.
- Monitor inward remittances from overseas customers.
- Maintain foreign currency transaction records.
- Reconcile export proceeds with bank statements.
4. GST & Tax Compliance
- Prepare GST data for filing.
- Reconcile GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and purchase registers.
- Verify Input Tax Credit (ITC).
- Assist in TDS calculation and compliance.
- Support statutory audits and tax assessments.
5. Payables & Receivables
- Monitor customer outstanding balances.
- Follow up for payment collections.
- Process supplier payments as per due dates.
- Prepare ageing reports for receivables and payables.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts.
6. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports.
- Generate Profit & Loss statements.
- Assist in Balance Sheet preparation.
- Prepare cash flow reports.
- Maintain cost analysis reports.
7. Audit Support
- Maintain accounting records for statutory, internal, and external audits.
- Provide documents required during audits.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
- Support auditors with reconciliations and explanations.
8. Export Incentive & Government Compliance
- Maintain records for export incentive claims.
- Coordinate documentation related to DGFT, EPC, RoDTEP, RoSCTL and other export benefits.
- Assist in preparing documents required by government authorities.
9. Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Logistics, HR, Production, and Export Documentation teams.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and government agencies.
- Support management with financial information for decision-making.
10. Record Management
- Maintain physical and digital accounting records.
- Ensure proper filing of invoices, vouchers, bank documents, and statutory records.
- Preserve documents as per company policy and legal requirements.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and export accounting.
- Familiarity with export documentation.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Tally Prime, Busy, SAP, or ERP software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter (preferred).
- Additional certification in GST or Accounting is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of accounting experience in an export or manufacturing company.
- Experience in handling export transactions and banking documentation is preferred.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
