We are looking for a customer-oriented and technically savvy Service Advisor to join our team. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responsible for scheduling service appointments, diagnosing vehicle issues through customer interviews, and ensuring a seamless service experience from drop-off to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction: Greet customers professionally, listen to their vehicle concerns, and document symptoms accurately.
Job Card Preparation:
Create detailed repair orders (Job Cards) and ensure all customer requirements are clearly communicated to the workshop team.
Cost & Time Estimation:
Provide customers with accurate estimates for repair costs and expected delivery times.
Service Coordination:
Act as a liaison between the customer and the technicians to provide real-time updates on vehicle status.
Upselling:
Recommend additional maintenance services or genuine accessories based on the vehicle’s age, mileage, and condition.
Quality Check:
Conduct a final walkthrough of the vehicle to ensure all requested jobs are completed to the customer's satisfaction.
Billing & Explanation:
Explain the final invoice to the customer, including the work performed and the parts replaced.
Customer Retention:
Handle complaints with empathy and follow up with customers post-service to ensure high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Graduate
Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an authorized automobile dealership (Freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered).
Technical Knowledge: A good understanding of automotive systems, engine parts, and general maintenance.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English (and local language) skills to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
Driving License: Must possess a valid 4-wheeler driving license.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in using DMS (Dealer Management System) and basic MS Office (Excel/Word).
Soft Skills Required
Patience & Empathy: Ability to remain calm when dealing with frustrated customers.
Time Management: Capable of multitasking in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Persuasion: Strong negotiation and sales skills for service marketing.
