Key responsibilities
You are expected to take up the following responsibilities:
Self-learning
● Keep yourself updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in software development.
● Continuously explore new tools, services, and open-source technologies relevant to YDF's digital ecosystem.
● Understand privacy and security compliance like DPDP and practical implementation measures
Digital Platforms Management
● Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
● Build reusable frontend components and scalable backend services.
● Develop REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
● Customize and enhance existing applications based on user and organizational requirements.
● Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and security.
● Support mobile application backend services and integrations.
● Maintain and troubleshoot Moodle LMS platform.
● Support platform integrations using automation tools like n8n.
● Develop SQL queries and operational dashboards for reporting.
Devops & Infrastructure Management
● Configure and manage Linux servers and cloud infrastructure.
● Build, customize, and maintain Docker containers, and production and staging environments.
● Monitor server health, application performance, uptime, and logs.
● Configure DNS, SSL certificates, domains, backups, cron jobs, and security measures.
● Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, server migrations, and infrastructure reliability.
● Troubleshoot production issues related to containers and deployments.
● Deploy and maintain open-source applications.
● Manage DigitalOcean infrastructure and cloud resources.
● Configure domains and hosting platforms (Hostinger, Cloudflare, etc.)
● Perform infrastructure monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning
Documentation & Reporting
● Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, API documentation, and SOPs.
● Generate reports on system usage, platform performance, and operational metrics.
● Conduct data audits and ensure adherence to security and privacy standards.
● Maintain runbooks and troubleshooting documentation.
● Maintain Gitlab repositories and deployment documentation.
● Create technical SOPs for infrastructure and platform operations
Stakeholder Management
● Collaborate with product, operations, and data teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
● Conduct internal training sessions on newly developed tools and systems.
● Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues across digital platforms.
● Work closely with external technology partners and open-source communities.
● Provide technical consultation and production support to Operations teams.
● Troubleshoot platform issues and recommend scalable technical solutions.
PA - Devops shall also help in managing the office activities along with the larger YDF team.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
