Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven International Education Counsellor to guide students through their study abroad journey. The ideal candidate will provide personalized counseling, assist with university applications, and support students in selecting the best academic pathways based on their career aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding study abroad opportunities.
- Assess students' academic profiles and career goals to recommend suitable universities and programs.
- Guide students through the admissions process, including application submissions and documentation.
- Assist students with SOPs, LORs, CV preparation, and university requirements.
- Provide information on scholarships, tuition fees, and living expenses.
- Support students throughout the visa application process.
- Maintain strong relationships with partner universities and institutions.
- Conduct follow-ups with leads and nurture prospective students.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and promotional events.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly student enrollment targets.
- Keep up to date with international education trends, immigration policies, and university updates.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in study abroad counseling, admissions, or education consulting.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in international education may also apply.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counseling and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of international education systems and admission processes.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple student applications.
- Target-oriented mindset with strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Preferred Knowledge
- Experience handling admissions for the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Europe.
- Familiarity with student visa procedures and documentation.
- Understanding of scholarship opportunities and education financing.
