Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks
- Develop detailed design documentation including BOMs, exploded views, and fabrication drawings
- Modify and improve existing product designs based on engineering requirements
- Coordinate with production, R&D, and quality teams for design feasibility
- Perform tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards
- Prepare sheet metal, weldment, and mechanical component designs
- Support prototyping and product testing activities
- Maintain proper revision control and design records
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AUTOCAD
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and GD&T
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and sheet metal
- Ability to read and create technical drawings
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in mechanical or product design
- Experience in industrial equipment, automotive, furniture, fabrication, or product manufacturing industries preferred
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.19 per month
