Job Summary
Greendot Biopak Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Sealing & Cutting Machine Operator to operate and maintain sealing & cutting machines used in the manufacturing of biodegradable garbage bags. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production, maintaining product quality, minimizing wastage, and following all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Sealing & Cutting Machines as per the daily production plan.
- Set machine parameters according to bag size, thickness, sealing width, and production requirements.
- Ensure proper sealing, cutting, perforation, and bag dimensions.
- Monitor machine performance during production and make necessary adjustments.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Minimize raw material wastage and reduce production rejection.
- Perform machine changeovers for different bag sizes and specifications.
- Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Report machine breakdowns or technical issues to the Maintenance Department.
- Maintain daily production records, machine logs, and downtime reports.
- Follow 5S, GMP, and all company safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams to achieve daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Sealing & Cutting Machine operation.
- Knowledge of biodegradable film and garbage bag manufacturing.
- Understanding of sealing quality, bag dimensions, and production standards.
- Ability to identify and resolve basic machine-related issues.
- Knowledge of machine setup, changeover, and preventive maintenance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under production targets and pressure.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastic, Production, or Electrical Engineering.
- Candidates with 10th or 12th Pass and relevant machine operation experience may also apply.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience operating Sealing & Cutting Machines in the flexible packaging, biodegradable bags, or plastic manufacturing industry.
