Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules, IS standards, and statutory regulations.
- Identify electrical hazards and implement risk control measures at site.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of electrical installations, panels, cables, tools, and machinery.
- Ensure proper earthing, grounding, LOTO (Lock Out–Tag Out) procedures are followed.
- Verify usage of PPE such as insulated gloves, shoes, helmets, and arc-flash protection.
- Monitor safe practices during HT/LT works, cable laying, panel installation, testing & commissioning.
- Prepare and implement Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessment for electrical activities.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training programs for electricians and staff.
- Investigate electrical accidents/near misses and prepare incident reports with corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, and subcontractors on safety matters.
Maintain safety documents:
- Electrical safety checklists
- PTW (Permit to Work) records
- Incident & audit reports
- Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Electricity Act, CEA regulations, and client safety requirements.
- Support internal and external safety audits.
Qualification :
- ADIS (Advance Diploma In Safety)
- Any Graduation (Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical B Tech or Degree )
- Good communication skills and documentation knowledge
- Computer knowledge to prepare the documents.
