Position: Core Shop Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Core Shop Supervisor to lead our core-making operations and ensure consistent production of high-quality cores for the foundry.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the core shop.
- Plan and monitor production of Cold Box and Shell cores.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor core dimensions, strength, and curing parameters.
- Ensure proper machine setup, tooling, and preventive maintenance.
- Control raw material consumption and minimize process rejections.
- Train and supervise operators while maintaining safety and 5S standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the core shop.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production, or related Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in a foundry core shop.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing Cold Box and Shell cores.
- Good understanding of core-making processes, tooling, and quality requirements.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
