Job Description:
The Delivery Boy is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate pickup and delivery of parcels, documents, and shipments to customers. The role requires excellent customer service, adherence to company procedures, and proper handling of packages while maintaining delivery records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver parcels, documents, and shipments safely and on time.
- Collect shipments from customers as assigned.
- Verify shipment details before pickup and delivery.
- Obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery (POD) through the company's application or physical documents.
- Handle cash-on-delivery (COD) collections accurately and deposit collections as per company policy.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure all packages are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain regular communication with the operations team regarding delivery status.
- Update delivery status using the company's mobile application or handheld device.
- Follow traffic rules and company safety guidelines while driving.
- Report delivery issues, customer complaints, damaged shipments, or delays immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Meet daily delivery and pickup targets.
- Return undelivered shipments and required documents to the warehouse at the end of the shift.
- Maintain professional behavior and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
