The Production Manager shall be responsible for the overall planning, execution and monitoring of production activities in the Knits Garment Manufacturing Unit, ensuring achievement of daily and monthly production targets, required quality standards and timely completion of orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and monitor line-wise production, manpower allocation, line balancing, productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure smooth style loading, availability of required inputs and uninterrupted production across all sewing lines.
- Monitor hourly/daily production against targets, identify bottlenecks and initiate timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Planning, Merchandising, Cutting, Quality, IE, Maintenance, Finishing and Stores for smooth production flow.
- Ensure adherence to approved garment specifications, buyer quality standards and control of defects, alterations and rejections.
- Optimize utilization of manpower and machinery while controlling WIP, downtime, overtime and production losses.
- Manage and guide Production Executives, Supervisors, Line Leaders, Tailors and Helpers and maintain proper discipline on the production floor.
- Ensure timely completion of production as per the agreed production plan and committed delivery schedules and regularly report production status to the Management.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
