Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Electrical Control Wiring Technician responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical control panels and wiring systems as per design specifications. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate wiring of control systems used in industrial and commercial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Perform control panel wiring as per technical specifications
- Assemble electrical components such as relays, contactors, PLCs, and terminal blocks
- Ensure proper cable routing, tagging, and ferruling
- Conduct continuity and insulation testing of wiring systems
- Troubleshoot and rectify wiring faults and control panel issues
- Assist in installation and commissioning of electrical systems at site
- Follow safety standards and electrical regulations at all times
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition
- Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for project execution
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical control wiring and panel assembly
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Familiarity with PLC wiring and basic automation systems
- Knowledge of electrical components and their functions
- Attention to detail and accuracy in wiring
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 0-3 years of experience in control panel wiring or electrical installation
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered
