Vinisha Rao Designer Studio is looking for an experienced and confident Senior Sales Executive to take responsibility for client handling, sales conversions, follow-ups, and day-to-day sales activities at our designer studio.
This is a target-driven, customer-facing sales role. We are looking for someone who already has practical experience in sales and understands how to approach clients, understand their requirements, present products, handle objections, follow up, and convert enquiries into sales.
This is not an internship or design role. Prior professional sales experience is required.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Conversion
- Handle walk-in and appointment-based clients professionally from entry to purchase.
- Understand the client's occasion, requirements, preferences and budget.
- Present suitable outfits and explain product details, pricing, styling and availability.
- Guide clients through selections, trials and fittings.
- Handle customer objections and price discussions professionally.
- Convert enquiries and client visits into successful sales.
- Work towards daily, monthly and individual sales targets.
- Follow up with clients who have not purchased during their first visit.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
Client Experience
- Provide a premium and personalised experience to every client.
- Understand different types of customers and adapt the sales approach accordingly.
- Handle high-value and occasion-wear clients with confidence and patience.
- Maintain accurate client contact details, preferences, requirements and follow-up status.
- Ensure every serious enquiry is followed up properly.
Studio & Store Operations
- Take responsibility for the sales floor and ensure the studio remains organised and client-ready.
- Maintain proper handling, arrangement, tagging and movement of outfits.
- Support visual merchandising, outfit clustering and display changes.
- Coordinate with the studio team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Assist with outfit preparation and coordination for client deliveries and photoshoots.
Reporting & Accountability
- Provide regular updates to management regarding:
- Daily sales
- Client walk-ins
- Enquiries and leads
- Follow-ups
- Conversions
- Pending client requirements
- Stock or operational concerns
- Maintain accurate sales and client follow-up records.
- Take ownership of assigned targets and sales performance.
Social Media & Brand Support
- Support outfit selection and preparation for reels, photoshoots and other content.
- Assist the team in presenting products appropriately for social media content.
- Stay aware of current fashion and styling trends that can help with client conversations and sales.
Required Experience & SkillsMust Have
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional sales experience.
- Strong customer-handling and communication skills.
- Proven experience working towards sales targets.
- Ability to independently handle clients and close sales.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Preferred
- Experience in fashion retail, designer boutiques, luxury retail, bridal/ethnic wear, jewellery or other premium customer-facing sales.
- Knowledge of fashion, styling and occasion wear.
- Experience handling high-value customers.

Salary: ₹20000 per month, based on experience
Incentives: Performance-based incentives
Candidates with relevant professional sales experience will be prioritised.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
