Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Taxation to join a leading Manufacturing MNC in Pithampur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing direct tax compliance, tax assessments, statutory filings, audits, and coordinating with regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance with applicable tax laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax laws and statutory regulations.
- Manage TDS/TCS compliance, reconciliation, and related statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns accurately and within deadlines.
- Handle tax assessments and provide litigation support.
- Draft and submit responses to Income Tax and other government notices.
- Manage tax audits, transfer pricing audits, and annual statutory tax filings.
- Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities on taxation matters.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure timely implementation of compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate tax records, documentation, and MIS reports.
- Identify tax risks and recommend process improvements to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 6–10 years of experience in Corporate Taxation, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Direct Tax Laws, Income Tax compliance, and statutory regulations.
- Hands-on experience in handling tax assessments, audits, transfer pricing, and government notices.
- Sound understanding of TDS/TCS provisions and Income Tax Return filing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and taxation-related software.
