Job Description – Sr. Executive – Operations
Location: Mumbai
Purpose of the Role
The Sr. Executive – Operations will be responsible for managing depot inventory and logistics operations, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, release and drop-off management, transportation coordination, and operational support for container movements. The role requires close coordination with depots, surveyors, transport vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and record depot activities across owned and third-party depots.
- Monitor and update inventory condition reports regularly.
- Provide daily inventory allocation and stock availability updates.
- Reconcile stock reports between internal systems and depot records.
- Upload, maintain, and manage release and drop-off instructions.
- Resolve release order and drop-off-related operational issues.
- Coordinate with surveyors and depot teams for inspections and surveys.
- Issue release orders and drop-off instructions within defined timelines.
- Manage transportation arrangements and vendor coordination.
- Process transportation, vendor, and domestication invoices.
- Handle end-to-end domestication activities and compliance requirements.
- Maintain re-export documentation and monitor related activities.
- Monitor transportation execution against service levels and timelines.
- Ensure accurate operational reporting and documentation.
Educational Qualification & Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Container Leasing Operations, Container Equipment Control, Depot Operations, Shipping Line Operations, or Logistics Operations.
- Experience in inventory management, depot reconciliation, release orders, drop-off instructions, and transportation coordination preferred.
Technical Skills:
