Job Description: Poultry Breeding Farm Supervisor
Location: Hoshiarpur , Punjab
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of farm workers and assign tasks.
- Monitor the health, feeding, watering, and overall welfare of breeding birds.
- Ensure proper egg collection, handling, storage, and dispatch procedures.
- Maintain breeding, production, mortality, and flock performance records.
- Follow and enforce biosecurity, hygiene, and farm safety procedures.
- Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature, ventilation, lighting, and humidity in poultry houses.
- Identify sick or injured birds and report issues to the veterinarian or farm manager.
- Ensure birds receive vaccinations and medications according to the farm schedule.
- Inspect equipment and facilities and report maintenance needs.
- Manage feed inventory and ensure birds receive the correct feed on time.
- Train and guide farm workers on standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and animal welfare standards.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports for the Farm Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in poultry breeding or poultry farm operations.
- Experience supervising a team is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Basic knowledge of poultry breeding and bird health.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding farm environment.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, or farm management software) are preferred.
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily performed on a poultry breeding farm.
- May require weekend, holiday, or shift work.
- Must follow strict biosecurity measures, including wearing protective clothing and footwear.

- Bird health and low mortality rates.
- Compliance with biosecurity and safety standards.
- Accuracy of farm records.
- Team productivity and task completion.
- Cleanliness and maintenance of farm facilities.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
