Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst to oversee the way we compensate employees and ensure all payments are accurate and on time. Senior Payroll Analyst responsibilities include reviewing payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors, checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payments are made on time. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent analytical skills with the ability to spot numerical errors.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Familiarity with using Excel and spreadsheets.
o Handle variables pay components and treatment such as bonuses, overtime, and incentives.
o Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
o Maintain, update & process the payroll into the systems with accurate employee data
o Address and resolve payroll-related queries and issues from employees promptly.
o Review timesheets and attendance records and correct inaccuracies.
o Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits and garnishments.
o Provide support during internal and external audits.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in payroll processing.
o Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and update processes accordingly.
o Analyze compensation-related data including wages and bonuses.
o Manage the Year End, generation of e-TDS & issuing of Form 16.
o Client management, client calls etc.
Minimum Job Requirements:
o Oversee payroll transactions (via e-banking)
o Excellent analytical skills
o Ability to work under tight deadlines.
o Ability to prioritize the client and their respective task
o Overseeing payroll procedures.
o Preparing reports and forecasts for senior management.
o Ensuring compliance with all compensation and tax regulations.
