Position: Vice Principal
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Support the Principal in planning, implementing, and monitoring academic programs in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
- Ensure effective curriculum delivery, assessment practices, and continuous improvement in student performance.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom instruction, and academic outcomes across all grades.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies and best educational practices.
School Administration
- Assist in the day-to-day administration and smooth functioning of the school.
- Oversee student discipline, attendance, safety, and overall well-being.
- Coordinate school activities, examinations, assemblies, events, and academic schedules.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, CBSE regulations, and statutory requirements.
Teacher Management & Development
- Supervise and support teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to educators.
- Identify training needs and facilitate professional development programs.
- Promote a collaborative, positive, and performance-driven work culture.
Parent & Student Relations
- Address student and parent concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Foster strong communication between the school and parent community.
- Support initiatives that contribute to student development, welfare, and engagement.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain academic and administrative records as required by CBSE and other regulatory authorities.
- Assist during inspections, audits, accreditation processes, and compliance reviews.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports, records, and documentation.
Strategic Support to School Leadership
- Assist the Principal and Management in implementing the school's vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
- Contribute to policy development, operational planning, and school improvement initiatives.
- Support admissions, staff recruitment, and institutional growth plans.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Master's Degree in a relevant discipline along with B.Ed. (M.Ed. preferred).
- Minimum 5-10 years of teaching experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, policies, and educational regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage academic excellence, staff performance, student discipline, and parent relations effectively.
- Proficient in educational technology and school management systems.
