Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Nursing Incharge to supervise nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The candidate will be responsible for managing nursing operations, maintaining discipline, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff
- Ensure proper patient care and adherence to clinical protocols
- Allocate duties and prepare nursing rosters/shift schedules
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, and discipline
- Maintain nursing records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure proper infection control and hygiene practices
- Handle patient and attendant concerns effectively
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments for smooth operations
- Conduct training and orientation for nursing staff
- Ensure availability and proper use of medical equipment and supplies
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: GNM / B.Sc Nursing
- Valid nursing registration
- Proven experience in a supervisory or incharge role preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and patient safety standards
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in hospital administration or ward management
- Ability to handle emergency situations efficiently
- Familiarity with Hospital Management Systems (HMS)
