Role Overview
The Associate – Global Sourcing & Seller Partnerships will play a critical role in building and managing Agrify’s seller network across domestic and international markets. This role involves outreach, qualification, onboarding, and coordination with exporters, farms, and trading companies to ensure a strong and reliable supply pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Seller Outreach:Identify and connect with exporters, growers, packhouses, and aggregators through LinkedIn, email, calls, and trade directories.
- Partnership Qualification:Conduct initial discussions to assess seller capabilities, certifications, pricing, and alignment with sourcing needs.
- Coordination & Follow-ups:Manage communication between sellers and internal teams, ensuring timely follow-ups and smooth deal progression.
- Seller Onboarding:Support sellers through onboarding processes including registration, profile setup, and platform readiness.
- Documentation Management:Collect and maintain essential documents such as IEC, certifications, and agreements to ensure compliance and readiness.
- CRM & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of interactions and provide regular updates on pipeline and onboarding progress.
- Market Research Support:Assist in basic research on commodities, pricing trends, and sourcing opportunities.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or sales coordination (freshers with strong communication skills can apply)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact across geographies
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; CRM experience is a plus
- Understanding of export documentation (IEC, certifications, etc.) is an advantage
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
