A warehouse maintainer's responsibilities include:
- Inventory management: Keeping track of inventory levels, ensuring inventory is organized, and implementing inventory control systems .
- Safety: Ensuring a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and teaching new employees how to follow safety procedures
- Stock rotation: Ensuring the freshness and quality of goods by rotating stock
- Loading and unloading: Loading and unloading deliveries, and building loads with forklifts and pallet jacks
- Picking and packing: Accurately picking and packing orders as per customer requirements .
- Communication: Communicating with employees from various departments, including warehouse personnel, truck drivers, and inventory managers
- Organization: Organizing stock in the warehouse and storing inventory in an accessible manner .
