The Clinical Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or pain arising from injury, illness, surgery, or ageing. The role spans both in-clinic consultations and home-visit care, requiring clinical judgment, adaptability across care settings, and strong patient communication.
Reports to: clinical Operations Manager Employment Type:Full-time (Clinic + Home Visits)
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Assessment & Treatment
- Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and other modalities as clinically indicated
- Reassess and modify treatment plans based on patient response and outcome data
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, ergonomics, and injury prevention
Home Visit Care
- Conduct safe, effective assessments and treatments in patients' home environments, adapting techniques and equipment needs to non-clinical settings
- Evaluate home safety, mobility aids, and environmental modifications required for patient independence
- Coordinate visit scheduling and travel logistics to ensure timely, punctual care
- Maintain clinical rigor and documentation standards equivalent to in-clinic care despite the home setting
Clinic-Based Care
- Manage a caseload of in-clinic appointments across musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, sports, or geriatric conditions (per specialization)
- Utilize clinic equipment, treatment tables, and rehabilitation tools appropriately
- Collaborate with front-desk and clinical support staff to manage patient flow and scheduling
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records (SOAP notes, outcome scores, treatment plans) in the EMR system
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) from a recognized institution
Skills & Competencies
- Strong manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work independently in unsupervised home settings
- Time management and travel planning for multi-site/home visit schedules
- Clear communication with patients, families, and referring clinicians
- Proficiency with EMR/documentation systems
- Valid driver's license and a two wheeler (for home-visit roles, where required)
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
