We are currently expanding our footprint and are looking to place our premium products in hardware and plumbing stores across the region.
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Store & Area Sales Manager who thrives in both a retail and field sales environment. In this hybrid role, you will be the face of our brand, splitting your time between managing our primary retail store and traveling to other regional stores to pitch our products. Your ultimate goal is to grow our B2B wholesale network by convincing independent hardware and plumbing retailers to stock our pumps, pipes, and parts, while ensuring our home store operates flawlessly.
Core Responsibilities
- B2B Business Development (Field Sales): Travel to targeted hardware stores and plumbing suppliers in the region to pitch our product line, negotiate wholesale pricing, and secure new stockist agreements.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our retail partners, ensuring their shelves are stocked and providing them with product knowledge and promotional support.
- Store Leadership: Oversee daily operations at our flagship location, managing retail associates, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring walk-in customers receive expert advice.
- Inventory & Logistics: Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels for both our direct retail store and the wholesale orders generated from your field visits.
- Market Reporting: Track market trends, monitor competitor pricing in the field, and report sales performance and new lead generation to upper management.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Experienced in sales management, with specific experience in B2B field sales, wholesale distribution. A background in hardware, plumbing, or construction materials is a major plus.
- Travel & Mobility: Must possess a valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler license and a reliable vehicle, with a strong willingness to travel to client sites and other stores across the region regularly.
- Sales & Negotiation: Strong persuasive communication skills with the ability to confidently pitch to independent store owners, overcome objections, and negotiate bulk supply contracts.
- Technical Aptitude: Solid understanding of water pumps (submersible, centrifugal), PVC/CPVC piping systems, and related hardware to effectively educate potential wholesale buyers on product benefits.
- Leadership: Proven ability to motivate a retail team, manage daily store operations, and seamlessly juggle in-store duties with field sales tasks.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
