Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Senior Admissions Manager, the Admissions Counsellor is responsible for supporting student enrolment by guiding prospective families through the admissions process, promoting the school's programs, and ensuring an excellent admissions experience. The role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.

Sancta Maria International School is an international curriculum, co-educational day school in Hyderabad. The school is part of the Saint Mary’s Educational Society, founded in 1982. Key Responsibilities
- Counseling Parents for admission.
- To organise and arrange interview/assessment for prospective students with the help of teachers.
- Constant follow up with the prospective parent.
- Schedule and conduct Admissions Interviews analyse potential of enquiries/applicants and debrief colleagues on an on-going basis.
- Co-ordinating with Parent Relations Officers and Teachers regarding Admission Formalities.
- Manage overall admissions procedure to ensure that proper correspondence and documentation is received and acknowledged, filed, and that departments are notified appropriately.
- Process admissions documents.
- Send out promotional literature to prospective families and other representatives.
- Help oversee telephone/e-mail enquiries
- Liaise with Accounts Dept. for collection of registration fees and payment or refund of other payments (deposits, tuition fees).
- Compilation of data for and distribution of monthly admissions reports.
- Record admissions activity case by case for both accepted and rejected applicants for future reference.
- Liaise with Head Admin to ensure that there is a sufficient supply of school promotional material available for admissions use, including ongoing supply of current School Newsletter.
- Observe the central admissions timeline for applications as determined by SMIS and ensure the set deadlines are met.
- Report formally and informally to the Principal on student numbers and prospective on daily basis.
- Maintain the Admissions Database (Portal).
- Conduct/arrange regular tours and information sessions for prospective families and students.
- Maintain and file Admissions Office records (enquiry forms, enrolment reports rejected/withdrawn applicant files, and other miscellaneous files).
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Cambridge programmes, the application process, the Terms and Conditions and the Parent Contract
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Admissions Manager from time to time.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively and develop good working relationships with parents.
- Willingness to take on added responsibilities.
- Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Self-management and ability to deal with pressure.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates with post-graduation in any stream.
- Min 2-3 Years of relevant experience in Cambridge/IB schools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude.

Pay: ₹30,520.54 - ₹45,571.79 per month
