We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in designing Motor Control Centers (MCC), Power Control Centers (PCC), and related LT switchgear panels. The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks and capable of preparing electrical and mechanical design drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
Key Responsibilities - Design and develop MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD, Soft Starter, and control panels as per customer specifications and applicable standards. Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings, SLDs, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and termination drawings. Create panel enclosure and busbar layouts using SolidWorks. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing drawings. Coordinate with Sales, Production, Purchase, and Quality departments for project execution. Support production team during panel assembly and testing. Conduct design reviews and resolve technical issues. Optimize panel design for cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
Required Skills - Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D Electrical Drawings).Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D Panel Design).Knowledge of MCC, PCC, APFC, Soft Starter, VFD, and Control Panels. Ability to prepare BOMs and technical documentation. Good communication and coordination skills.
Educational Qualification - B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Additional certifications in AutoCAD or SolidWorks will be preferred. Preferred Experience - In LT Panel Manufacturing Industry. Exposure to industrial projects, OEM panels, or turnkey electrical projects. Familiarity with Schneider, Siemens, ABB, L&T, Eaton, or similar switchgear products.
