Job Summary
The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site. The role ensures that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily civil construction activities at the project site.
- Study and interpret construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and method statements.
- Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and resources required for site activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and site teams.
- Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor progress against the project schedule and identify delays or potential issues.
- Check levels, dimensions, alignment, reinforcement, formwork, concrete, masonry, plastering, flooring, and other civil works.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and quality approvals.
- Ensure proper execution of RCC, structural, finishing, and external development works as applicable.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site measurements, work records, and other project documentation.
- Verify quantities and measurements of work completed by subcontractors.
- Coordinate material requirements with the procurement and store departments.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Identify technical problems at site and coordinate with the Project Manager/consultant for appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and coordinate with the safety team to maintain safe working conditions.
- Supervise and guide junior engineers, supervisors, foremen, and workers.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress, quality, manpower, and material requirements.
- Maintain proper records of inspections, drawings, revisions, and site instructions.
- Support testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and project handover activities.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of High Raised Building construction methods, materials, drawings, and site execution.
- Experience in RCC, structural, finishing, and general civil works.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and construction/project-management software.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
